What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When customers choose a product or products and add to basket they now have an option to go to the "check out" page and complete the details required for the transaction.
On submission of the check out details the customer is taken to the secure site of the payment provider (in this case Pay Pall) who on completion of the payment (including security checks) send the customers details (Name, Address, E-mail Address & Order Details) to the lbcwholesale.co.uk web site.
The order is the dealt with and the goods delivered to the customers address.
Note: On-line Card details are not sighted nor retained by London Bead Co. Ltd. as all monetary transactions are dealt with on the secure Pay Pall web site.
Alternatively the payment can be made by a BACS transaction or follow a previously agreed 30 day account details (if applicable).
This is done by checking the radio button "Bank Payment" at the check out.
The pro-forma invoice defaults to "on hold" until payment is received the changed to processing and complete as required
Note: We no longer hold card reading equipment therefore there is no record of customer card details held by the company.
Media and Comments
At present our site does not contain any Blog pages therefore the above is not applicable.
Where a comment is made against a product it is held in a pending approval page (not visible on the web site) where the administrator assesses the value and decides whether to approve or delete the comment.
Legitimate inquiries via contact forms are answered and dealt with and all other submitted forms deemed to be of nuisance or spam content are deleted out of hand.

We do not share your details with anyone other than the orders that go to the payment provider Pay Pall.

We keep contact form entries for six months, approved comments for a year, and customer purchase records for ten years.

You can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

There is no other usage of customer's data other than completing the transaction of the sale of our products.
